Presentation of Work to Pope Francis

Presentation of Work to Pope Francis

“Fall in love with this land of God, commit to it and take care of it.” A chronicle of the special delivery of two works to Pope Francis in the Vatican, honoring the Church work in the Amazon and the fight for a healthier, cleaner world for future generations.

“Fall in love with this land of God, commit to it and take care of it, defend it. Do not use it as a simple disposable object, but as a true treasure.” - POPE FRANCIS

A very special delivery, I was fortunate enough to be able to give 2 of my works to Pope Francis, previously it was an academic drawing made in charcoal and now a work from my new series.

On this occasion, the gift was intended to honor the work of the Catholic Church carried out this year in the Amazon, with its quest to preserve our environment and fight for a healthier and cleaner world for our future generations.

It was a real adventure to get to the delivery of the work, but like everything that is worthwhile, thanks to all the effort we were able to talk about what he thought of the work, explain my process and listen to his word on the matter. Luckily I had a great reception from him, which fills me with pride and motivates me to continue on this creative path that I am developing.

I would like to thank all those who made this possible and for having chosen my painting to give to such a memorable man.
